Steve has been in Boise since 1990, but grew up in the South, in the great state of Georgia. He is an honors finance graduate from the University of Georgia and is a CFA charter holder. He earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School. Steve has 22 years’ industry experience, including investment management, investment banking and finance consulting. He joined Berkeley, Inc. in 2003.
He currently serves as Secretary of the CFA Society of Idaho and a volunteer mechanic and board member with the Boise Bicycle Project (he commutes by bike most days.) From 2006-2014, he served on the board for the Better Business Bureau Serving the Snake River Region. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and cross country skiing—and of course, like any good UGA graduate—keeping up with Georgia Bulldog football. Steve’s wife, Courtney, is a graduate of Vanderbilt and Stanford University, and teaches in the Executive MBA program at Boise State University. Steve and Courtney have two great daughters, Sienna and Quinn. Sienna is presently a student at Stanford, while Quinn attends Boise High.
