About SteveI have been in Boise since 1990, but I grew up in Georgia. I am an honors finance graduate from the University of Georgia and am a CFA charter holder. I earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School. I have 35 years’ industry experience, including investment management, investment banking and finance consulting. I joined Berkeley, Inc. in 2003.
I have served in several different roles for the board of the CFA Society of Idaho and am a supporter/volunteer at the Boise Bicycle Project (I commute by bike most days.) From 2006-2014, I served on the board for the Better Business Bureau Serving the Snake River Region. In my free time, I enjoy mountain biking Boise’s great network of dirt roads and single-track trails, going on bikepacking trips with a few other hardy souls, hiking and cross-country skiing—and of course, like any good UGA graduate, keeping up with Georgia Bulldog football and their pursuits of another national championship. My wife, Courtney, is a graduate of Vanderbilt and Stanford University; she teaches in the Executive MBA program at Boise State University and runs a non-profit dedicated to encouraging Idaho to move to 100% renewable energy. We have two wonderful daughters, Sienna and Quinn. Sienna is a Stanford graduate and is pursuing a PhD in environmental fluid mechanics at Cal Berkeley; Quinn is a Smith graduate and is pursuing a PhD in biostatistics at the University of Washington. |
