Megan Parrish CFP®
After earning a degree in math, I started my career as a high school math teacher. I’ve always had a strong desire to coach, tutor, and teach, these days it’s just a different demographic. When I knew I wasn’t destined for life as a math teacher I sought out something entirely new. I started as the office manager for Berkeley in 2015. Since then I’ve worked my way through several positions at Berkeley to become a Certified Financial Planner® and one of the managing partners. Starting as the office manager has given me an important set of skills to understand exactly 'how the sausage is made' from start to finish in working with clients.
I am involved in financial planning for nearly all new and existing clients. If you have a question, I will know where to find the answer. My favorite thing about working as a financial advisor is learning and sharing knowledge about a very wide array of topics. I like to call us the enablers of your success. If you have an idea, we can find the best way to execute it. Financial planning is so much broader (and more fun!) than many people understand. It’s not just dollars and cents, it how you feel about the money you have and what provides you the satisfaction you seek from money.
